Rooted in the spirit of the Gospel, the Diocese works especially among tribal communities, children, youth, women, the poor, and the marginalized, helping them grow in dignity and hope. Its mission is to bring Christ’s love into everyday life through schools, health care, pastoral care, and community development, while building unity, peace, and a more humane society.

Its vision is to be close to the people, especially the poor, tribal communities, and those living in the peripheries, while promoting harmony, dignity, and holistic development. The Diocese seeks to build a caring and fiancial stable community .
